Art deco dressing table with mirror
This was my first go at creating a geometric design using masking tape.
This walnut veneer dressing table with mirror was fully stripped (old varnish removed with a chemical solution); it then had a geometric design created in green and metallic gold. The whole piece was then top-coated for durability and to bring out the walnut veneer grain.
All my pieces are refurbished by hand.
Grey chest of drawers with white geometric design
This vintage chest of drawers was also stripped and then painted in grey (soapstone colour by Fusion Mineral Paint). I then created, by hand, this geometric design using masking tape. Top coated for added durability.
New knobs fitted, original casters cleaned.

Fun little project - vintage nest of tables, painted in grey and tops featuring multicoloured splatter.

This Ducal pine bedside table has been painted in green and features colourful stripes on the top and also the bottom shelf.
Blue cupboard with decoupage
This must be one of my favourite transformations! The old cupboard was very 'tired' and needed a ton of work; the top needed a lot of sanding, the inside partitions were removed (presumably it may have been used a a musical cabinet before to store records?); the insides of the drawers were tired too.
Overall, though, it was such a sturdy oak piece of furniture and it just proves that good workmanship truly does stand the test of time.
As usual, all old varnish was fully removed and the whole cupboard (yes, inside and out) was painted in midnight blue by Fusion Mineral Paint. The sides and insides of drawers were then decoupaged with this leaf pattern wallpaper to add some interest.

Red chest of drawers with green floral pattern
This quality built oak chest of drawers has been stripped and painted in red and features a sage green floral pattern on the drawers.

yellow bedside/small chest of drawers
These sheesham wood drawers were refinished in a cheerful yellow colour and had an oil topcoat applied for added durability.
